Every day, the scientific progress in the environmental field reveals new compounds, new processes and secondary reactions by which elements and molecules get combined and recombined to form substances sometimes harmful to humans.Therefore, the necessity to separate, abate and/or neutralise the emissions derive from civil and industrial facilities with/without combustion into the atmosphere is a requirement set to last and grow. The challenge against the abatement of pollutants existing in the emissions is a project started around 2000, when Assegenik srl was not yet established and its pioneer, Nicola Riccardi, started a series of study and experiments. Few years later after countless tests, he designed and realised the first prototype of abatement system with PWS® technology. Since then, thanks to the experiences in the field and the applied theoretical studies, the technology has been in continuous improvement. Consequently, it has been possible to consolidate a technology emerged from passion for challenge and intellectual game. We have then proceeded to register the patent almost all over the world.
