At the root of excellent results which Assegenik’s abatement system guarantees, there is a patent, registered in many countries, based on a technology named as PWS^® (Pollutants Wet Stripper).

To put it very briefly, it is about a virtuous process which, taking advantage of the physical properties of gaseous liquids and water, allows much higher efficiency of traditional wet strippers by reducing energy consumption of the system.

Inside of the stripper, in different physical chemistry conditions, every tiny gas particle which is exposed to a multi-stage washing process undergoes an intensive treatment. Thanks to this, pollutant load will yield to the wash liquid and subsequently filtered and/or completely purified.

Having had years of experiments (the first prototype is made prior to 2004) and outstanding number of installations, the PWS^® technology can be considered as unquestionable fact. Both small and large systems have achieved variety of important results in terms of percentages of abatement on mechanical (soot, fine dusts, metallic dusts) and gaseous (NOx, SOx, odours…) pollutants, let alone its efficiency in terms of energy consumption and maintenance.
